Professional online workshops are combined with an AI-driven virtual hiring expo to teach the job search process and then connect them with Canadian employers and brands.

Our Goals
At Devant, we understand the unique challenges that international students and alumni face when entering the Canadian work force. Learn more about how we work with Educators by clicking here.
This interactive virtual event takes place 2-3 times per year and guides attendees through the planning, preparation, and action stages of the job search process. The expo aims to:
1. Educate
Devant's live pre-event workshop, hosted by our Career Advisors, is created to prepare students for the expo.
It includes the latest resume and virtual interviewing tips, introductions to the event platform & participating employers, and networking in break-out rooms.
2. Connect
Our AI-driven event platform enables attendees to seamlessly interact with each company, upload their resumes, and book 1:1 virtual interviews.
Our online networking cafe is an inspiring space to share experiences and connect with like-minded peers.
3. Get Hired
Employers and attendees can communicate via live Q&As or 1:1 virtual interviews on any device. Plus, attendees can boost their employability with free credentials and career development events at Devant.

I attended 'Get Hired at Home' and was able to ask an Oracle NetSuite recruiter my questions about their opportunities and the organization, as well as connect with them on LinkedIn to stay in touch. We had conversations about my career interests and my previous experiences and it eventually helped me secure a summer internship with NetSuite!
I think overall, the event was very well organized and had the right organizations who were looking to give international students a chance. Event registrants are invited to attend this FREE live workshop to learn essential virtual interviewing and elevator pitch skills. Students will learn exactly how to make a good first impression on the expo's participating employers.
